Removing Dayscape

We're sorry to see you go but we get it... Dayscape won't be for everyone. If you want to remove it we've got you covered below...

Chrome (Desktop)

Disabling Dayscape

You can disable Dayscape without removing it. That way if you want to come back to it later all your settings and links will still be there. If you want to remove Dayscape permanently instead then jump to the next section.

  • Open the Chrome Extensions page by clicking the extensions toolbar button and then Manage Extensions

You can also open the Chrome Extensions page via the Window > Extensions menu or via the Chrome Preferences page.

  • To disable the Dayscape extension click the toggle button in the lower right corner of the Dayscape panel. When you want to enable Dayscape again just come back here and click the toggle button on.

Removing Dayscape Permanently

If you want to remove the Dayscape extension permanently then...

  • Either open the Chrome Extensions page as above and click the Remove button
  • Or click the extensions toolbar button, find Dayscape in the list, and select Remove from Chrome... from the drop down menu
  • Finally Chrome will ask you to confirm the removal by clicking the Remove button

Safari (macOS)

Disabling Dayscape

You can disable Dayscape without removing it. That way if you want to come back to it later all your settings and links will still be there. If you want to remove Dayscape permanently instead then jump to the next section.

  • Open Safari's Extension settings page by click the Dayscape extension toolbar button and select Manage Extension...

Alternatively you can use the Safari menu: Safari > Preferences... > Extensions

  • To disable the Dayscape extension uncheck the Dayscape entry in the extension list on the left. When you want to enable Dayscape again just come back here and check it again.

Removing Dayscape Permanently

If you want to remove the Dayscape extension permanently then you need to remove the Dayscape app from macOS. The Uninstall button in the Safari Extension settings page will simply instruct you to do just that.

You can either...

  • Delete the app from your Applications folder; or
  • Find Dayscape in the Launchpad, click and hold the Dayscape icon until it shakes, click the cross, and then click the Delete button.
