Installation

You can find Dayscape by simply visiting the web store for your browser.

Visit the Dayscape page (or search for 'Dayscape') on the Chrome Web Store and click the Add to Chrome button.

When prompted click the Add extension button.

If you do not have Chrome sync enabled you may be prompted to turn it on. Sync is a Chrome feature using your Google account. It syncs your Chrome information such as history and settings across all your Google devices.

Dayscape can use the sync feature to keep your Dayscape settings and links consistent across all your Chrome desktop browsers. If you do not enable Chrome sync your Dayscape settings will be kept separate. It's entirely up to you.

When you next open a new Chrome tab or window you'll be notified the page was changed by the 'Dayscape' extension. Click Keep it.

Now each time you open a new tab or window in Chrome you'll be using Dayscape.

Visit the App Store to install the Dayscape app

Open the Dayscape app. You can do this from the App Store when you install or you can find it on your home screen.

Click the Start Your Day button. This will open Safari and provide guidance to enable Dayscape.

Now when you open a new tab in Safari you'll see Dayscape

Now when you open a new tab in Safari you'll see Dayscape

Open the Dayscape app. You can do this from the App Store when you install or you can find it in your Mac applications list.

Click the Quit and Open Safari Extensions Preferences... button.

Alternatively you can go straight to the preferences from the Safari menu (without opening the Dayscape app): Safari > Preferences... > Extensions

Make sure the box is checked next to Dayscape in the list of extensions...

...and when asked click Use for New Windows and Tabs.

Now when you open new tabs and windows in Safari you'll be using Dayscape.
